A Message from Mayor Jeff Walik
I hope you’re having a wonderful summer, and you’re enjoying the long days of sunshine, backyard barbeques, upcoming vacations and some rest and relaxation.
We kicked off the start of summer on Memorial Day, with our annual Memorial Day ceremony to honor the US Military personnel who died while serving in the United States Armed Forces.
Now that the summer is in full swing and our seasonal events are taking place, I invite you to join us for Music in the Park every Wednesday evening from 7:00pm-9:00pm through August 21
st.
We have a lot of other events coming up, so mark your calendars:
- Our Village Wide Garage Sale on July 27th and 28th from 9:00am-2:00pm
- Police Department Open House, August 3rd,
- Paper Shredding Event on August 17th from 9:00am – Noon at 41st and Ridgeland
- Stickney Family Day, September 1st from 2:00pm – 9:00pm.
- Pet Fest on September 14th from 2:00pm – 9:00pm.

I want to thank our Public Works Department for all their hard work in keeping our town looking clean and fresh, Our Police Department for keeping our neighborhood safe and our Fire Department for their service as well.
Vehicle stickers went on sale May 1
st through June 28
th. Make sure you display your vehicle stickers to avoid getting a ticket.
